Two apps doing one job is money out the door every month.

StackLeak reads what your Shopify storefront loads publicly. No store access, no install, nothing to connect. It flags paid apps that overlap: two SMS tools, two review platforms, two loyalty programs. You'd be surprised how common it is.

What the scans show

Numbers from real storefronts, not a pitch deck

Every stat below comes from StackLeak's own scans of live US Shopify stores, August 2026.

18 of 49

Stores paying two vendors for one job

Of 49 stores scanned in one August sweep, 18 ran overlapping paid apps, most often two SMS tools (Attentive + Klaviyo), but also duplicate review platforms and duplicate loyalty programs.

7

Paid apps visible on a single storefront

The heaviest stack we've scanned loaded seven paid apps on the public storefront alone. Outside-in scans undercount: admin-side tools don't load publicly at all.

How it works

Free look first. Pay only for verdicts.

1

The scan

StackLeak reads your public storefront the way a browser does and identifies apps by the scripts they load. It never touches your admin, theme, orders, or customer data — it can't.

2

Free three-finding teardown

Email your store URL and you get the three most useful things the scan sees, overlaps first, plus a count of what else it holds. Free, no call, no strings.

3

The full audit

Every app gets a keep / cut / consolidate verdict with evidence, a safe teardown order, and a rollback note. Built from your real billing data — never estimates.

FAQ

Good questions

Do you need access to my store? +

No. The scan reads only what your public storefront loads: the same thing any visitor's browser sees. Findings are stated as observations to verify, not conclusions: your admin will always show more than the outside does.

How do you know what I'm paying? +

We don't, and we won't pretend to. The scan proves which apps load; the dollar figures in a paid audit come from your own Shopify billing page, which you share as a screenshot. No estimates, no invented numbers, ever.

What if the audit finds nothing worth changing? +

Then you pay half. The deal is at least three evidence-backed keep/cut/consolidate decisions or the second 50% is waived. And a genuinely clean stack is a useful thing to know for sure.

Who runs StackLeak? +

Kaleb Confer, a solo operator in Erie, PA. StackLeak is a service of RevivaCatch LLC, a registered Pennsylvania company. No agency, no outsourcing, no affiliate deals with any app vendor named in any report.
