App Stack Audit: an apparel DTC brand

This is the actual shape of the deliverable, built from a real August 2026 storefront scan. The store's name is withheld because they are not a client. Every dollar column is blank because those numbers come only from a merchant's own billing screenshot, never from guesses.

1 · What the scan found on the storefront

AppJob it doesHow we know
AttentiveSMSloads on the public storefront
Klaviyoemail + SMSloads on the public storefront
Gorgiashelpdeskloads on the public storefront
Yotporeviews + loyaltyloads on the public storefront

2 · Overlap analysis

SMS: Attentive and Klaviyo both load, and both send SMS. Two vendors billing for one channel is the most common leak we see. The audit question is not "which is better" in the abstract; it is which one drove revenue in the last 30 days at this store, what each costs at this volume, and which contract renews first.

3 · Verdicts (what the paid audit fills in)

AppMonthlyVerdictReasoning
Klaviyo$ from billingKEEP example verdict: carries email, and can absorb the SMS job if the numbers support it
Attentive$ from billingCONSOLIDATE? example verdict: decided by revenue attribution and contract dates, not by opinion
Gorgias$ from billingpending usage data unique job; the audit checks activity and ownership, not just presence
Yotpo$ from billingpending usage data unique job; same check
In a real audit, every verdict cites the merchant's own numbers. If the data says both SMS tools earn their keep, the verdict is KEEP on both, and that is stated plainly. Fewer than three evidence-backed decisions across the whole stack means the second half of the fee is waived.

4 · The teardown order (skeleton)

WeekActionRisk checked first
1export data, confirm nothing scheduled on the app being cutin-flight campaigns, active loyalty points
2cancel or downgraderefund window, annual-contract renewal dates
3verify the surviving app covers the jobdeliverability, flows re-pointed, tracking intact
Want this for your store? Start free: email your store URL to kalebconfer@gmail.com and you get a three-finding teardown back, usually same day. The full audit is $500 flat ($850 for complex stacks), 50% to start, second half waived if it cannot produce at least three evidence-backed decisions. Back to the main page.

Method: StackLeak reads the public storefront the way a browser does and identifies apps by the scripts they load. It cannot see and does not guess at billing, revenue, or admin-only apps.
